There is no changes to-note m tha,] markets, offerings of both wheat and oats being limited. Oatshcaf chaff is dull of sale as there is a large quantity awaiting shipment. Tho potato market is quiet the demand not being at , all. active, end at the same time growers are not anxious to sell at present prices— £o to £a ss. at country stations being all that is now offered. Tho immediate outlook for shipping to the north is not very satisfactory. Tho regular boat to Auckland is not calling at Lyttelton this trip and effort 3 t<> secure a special steamer; have so far been unsuccessful.
