DETAILS OF CONSPIRACY DEMANDED i No material change is yet reported in the general situation on the Western front. ■■ The German High Command has mado no move to resume his grand offensive. The news to-day relates chiefly to local engagements at certain points along tho front, and to the activities of the airmen. Von Uaekensen is reported to Lβ in command of tho German "army of manoeuvre" on the Western front, his rolo being to drive at a suitable breach prepared for his masses by tho shock troops directed by Von Hindenburg. The Australian coup at Ville-sur-Anore was an effective and valuable piece of work. Over four hundred prisoners were captured, the enemy's casualties 'were heavy, and he has lost a salient position which was awkward for our side. Events in llussia continue to present a chaotic aspect. Serious trouble for the Germans is evidently brewing in tho Ukraine; tho Bolsheviki have evacuted the last of the defences before Petrograd; General SemenolT, the Cossack leader, has joined forces with Chinese detachments. The round up of the Sinn Fein plotters in Ireland continues. The Press is demanding the fullest publicity for the history of the plot with Germany, and it is understood that this will be given..
