42nd REINFORCEMENTS
MOBILISATION NOW PROCEEDING.
The Canterbury recruits for the Fortyseconfl .Reinforcements arrivod from tlio south yesterday morning, and proceeded to Trentham. They went into the canvas camp at Heretaunga. The Otago men mo to enter camp to-day, the Wellington men. to-morrow, and tho Auckland men on Friday. Tho recruits from Group 5 (Wellington City and Suburbs) are to iparade at the Buckle Street liarraoke this'afternoon, and will go to camp early to-morrow morning. The Forty-second Infantry nrq to be equipped at Trenthain, and will , then proceed to Tauherenikau, where the recruits are to occupy the present CI camp for n, fortnight in isolation, lhe CI men at present in camp will go to tho canvas camp at Featherston. Tho period of isolation is considered desirable in view of the size of the draft, and the lauherenikau Camp has a particularly good health record. The Wty-second Infantry will return to Trentham at the close of tho fortnight.
