MASSED CHORUS FROM STATE • SCHOOLS. On Friday evening at the Town Hull the Eon. 'I.'. JI. Wilford is to deliver a war lecture—tho first since bis appointment io thji Ministry—and' as events in "the cockpit of Europe" have galloped since Mr. Wilford was Inst before the Wellington public liis ideas on : the changed position iiiid the altered outlook must attract a great dual of attention in view of the special study Jio has given his subject. ' A feature of the evening will be the massed chorus from the Stato schools of ihe city. Between 100 and 500 children will be present, and under the direction of Mr. Hubert Parker.will sing choral numbers breathing the proper spirit. The numbers to be sung wilj be "The Battle Jlynin of the Republic," "The Marseillaise," "Obedient to the Call," "The Five Bells of Osney" (round), and "Rule Britannia." Mr. T. Kerry is to probide at the grand organ. The box plan at the Bristol is filling rapidly.
