Y.M.C.A. NOTES
The men returning from the front were met on Saturday afternoon at the railway station by Mr. A. E. Smith, actinggeneral secretary of the Wellington Y.H.C.A., and welcomed home. Fifteen who were passing through on their way home were entertained at the Willis Street building. The soldiers' and residents' morning family worship was addressed by Mr. W C. Bndden, a Director of the Association. The Eev. G. Knowjes-Smitii gave an excellent address to the Sunday afternoon men's meeting, and soldiers and visitors were afterwards entertained at the strangers' tea. Sixty-seven soldiers were entertained at the after-church song-ser-vice and supper. At the hostel in Boulcott Street 187 beds and 520 meals were supplied to soldiers, and at the main Y.M.C.A. in Willis Street 163 beds and 245 meals were supplied.
