FATAL FALL FROM A TRAIN. By Telegraph—Press Association. Inglewood, May 20. The wifo of Mr. Akrtin Molloy, of Korito, a passenger by the express to Wellington on Saturday night, in endeavouring to alight while tho train was in motion, foil between the carriage and the platform, and was drawn under. Wangnnul, May 20. ■ At tho inquests on James Knowlcs and Thomas Miller Scott, the two men who wore found dead yesterday, tho verdict in eaoh case was that death was duo to heart failure. Knowles was a returned soldier, and had several awards and decorations from the Royal Humane Sooioty, inoluding tho gold medal, the highest award given for life saving. Ho rescued six persons from drowning on different oocasions at Napier. BODY FOUND IN PORT CHALMERS HARBOUR, Dunedin, May 2. The body of John Robert Sanson, a boilorman employed by Stevenson and Cook, Port Chalmers, was found near tho wharves at Port Chalmers this morning. He was last 6cen on the trawler Waitnngi at G p.m. on Saturday. Ho loaves a wife and three young children. An inquest; was held yesterday afternoon by Mr. W. G.' Riddell, S.M., into the cause of the death of Mnry Dixon, a married woman residing will) her hueband in Arlington Street. It appears that Mrs. Dixon, while visiting' Mrs. Hill, a friend, in Adelaido Road, on Friday last, was taken suddenly ill, and died. It was shown in evidence that Mrs. Dixon had suffered from bad health for somo years, and death was due io Internal hemorrhage. The verdict was in accordance with this ovidonce.
