By fur the largest uFnft of reservists Hint bos gono north for boiuo timo assembled at the King Edward Barracks this afternoon, tho men consisting largely of Second Division reservists. Admission to tho barracks was limited, strictly to the men going away. There was a very largo attendance of police, in prospect of trouble. The public gathered in-force outside the barracks, but although there were rumours of a demonstration the Tinpatriotic element was not very much in evidence. Shortly after three o'clock the roll cull was taken in tho barracks. 'I he men were a very good class of reservists, among whom could bo noticed many former citizens holding responsible positions. The march of the men to tho railway station was witnessed by great crowds in tho streets. There wero many affecting scenes at tho railway station. Thero wns not the slightest, sign of'disorder or demonstration anywhere throughout tho afternoon.
