ESCAPEE ARRESTED.
By ■ Telegraph—Press Association., Christchurch, May 18. Robert Dickson Warden, the prisoner who escaped from (lie Paparua Prison on Monday, was nrrested Inst night. When accosted by tho sergeant of police he made no effort lo escape, and was conveyed quietly to tho cells. Boforo tho ' Court this morning ho was charged with eccapinfr from custody, also with break-, ing and entering: a dwelling-house on Tuesday and stealing clothes and jewellery. The application of the police for ft remand to Wednesday was granted.
