42nd REINFORCEMENTS
MOBILISING THIS WEEK,
The Forty-second Reinforcement will be mobilised this week. The Wellington men are to assemble at the Bucklo Street Barracks on Wednesday afternoon, and will proceed to camp on Thursday morning. This diaft will consist chieflj? of married men. It will have a big proportion of Clase A reservists (married men without children), drawn in the first Second Division ballots, nnd also a substantial number of volunteers from Classes B, C and I) of the Second Division. Some of the balloted men of Class B,havo volunteered to forgo their twelve weeks' leave in order to strengthen tho draft, which will be the largest that has entered camp since last year. It was for this draft that the recruiting authorities mado • a special appeal for voluntcero. Rocrnitins! is now open for the Fortythird Reinforcement! s , which will enter camp in the period .Tune. 18-22. Tho Director of Recruiting wishes to secure volunteers for this draft from among youths who are apprnachinp military age, balloted men who have already been set down for later drafts, and Classes C and D of the Second Division.
