FLAGS FROM OVERSEAS
PRESENTED TO EXETER, London, May 16. Representatives of the Australian,. New Zealand, and African Governments presented flags of their several countries to Exeter in gratitude-ior the hospitality of the" city to oversea troops. ■ The flags are to be deposited in the Guildhall with commemorative tablets. Tho Mayor, Sir James Owen, said the ancient city had never received' gifts of greater significance, being emblematio of the unitv of all the nations of the Empire.—"The Times." .
