MAY BE HE-EXAMINED,
At the time when the medical examination of men of the Second Division was commenced, the Minister of Defeuco made a statement to the effcct that there would, bo no re-examination of men of the Second 'Division classed C 2.. It was just about the time that the First Division CiTmen were re-examined. deferring to ilie matter yesterday, thft Minister said that when lie had made tho statement it was intended to apply to that stage of the war, but it was impossible to say what would have to he dona as the war continued. He could not lay down a rule that for the timo l>cin? unfit for active service would I>Q totally exempted if the war should conlinue\o long' that every available man would be required to enable the Empire to exert, full strength in the struggle. •
