Sydney, May 16. The Premiers' Conference closed. It dealt with a large number «f questions chiefly of inter-State interest. Several larger matters affecting the relations of the States and the Commonwealth and finance were remitted to a further conforenco of the Treasurers of the States and the Commonwealth in July. Amongst other recommendations made was mm (hat wheat-growers should be guaranteed 4s. id. per bushel for tho years 1918, 1919, and 1020.—Press Asm.
