Fat lambs showed a further falling off, in both numbers and quality, but tho market was .firm.. Prime • fat sheep maintained their values, but '. 'Unfinished and inferior ewes were easier. .. Fat cattle sold at about late rates, ex- .. porters operating more freely. There i was a rather better inquiry for slorb ~■ cattle, and dairy cows near calving sold j' well.
