Messrs. Dalgety anil Company, Limited, I'almerstou North, report Jiaviug an exceptionally good yarding of Irath sheep and cattle at their Foilding yards on May 10. Bidding was keen throughout and practically every line, changed hands at satisfactory prim's to vendors. Following are quotations:-Sheep: Store ewes, 12s. 3d. to 13s. 7t1.: mixed aged eives, in lamb, 225.; lambs (cull), 7s. to 7s. 7(1.; lambs, small, 135., 13s. id.; medium, 16s. 4d.; wethers. 28s. 6d., 315., 31s. 4d., 335.; fat and forward ewes, 235. sd. to 255.: fat eWes, 265. Id. to 275. Cattle: Springing heifers. £10, £11 10s., to £12 10s.: uiother-fed weaners, small, £3 16s„ eood £7 165.; fat cows, medium. £9 10s. to £11; good, £12 Zs„ £12 10s., £13 3s. 6d., to £15 lis.: forward cows, £7 10a., £7 17s. 6d„ to £8 45.: small £6 25.; 18 and 20-month 6teers, £7 15s. to £8 ss.
