BRITAIN FOLLOWS THE EXAMPLE OF FRANCE. (Roo. May 14, 9.30 p.m.) London. May 13. In tho House of Commons Mr. Bonar Law stated that in view of tho probable shortage of raw material after the war, and of tho necessity for providing for the requirements of the Empire and the Allies, the Government intended to follow the example of the French Government, and denounce all commercial conventions containing a goneral clauso regarding most-favourcd-nation treatmont.—Reutor.
