The Wairarapa, Farmers' Co-oporative Association, Ltd., stock department, report:—At their usual Carterton sale, they offered a good yarding of piss, 800 sheep. and 200 cattle. They also sold, on account of-Mr. Jacob Compton, 80 stud Lincoln ewes and hoggets. Competition for all lines was keen, and they disposed of the bulk of the yarding* Prices were:—Light fat wethers, 31sy 3d;: forward empty ewes, 255. j B.m. ewes, light condition, 17s.
