A considerable quantity tf what is shipped was ready for export last season, but because of the shipping shortage it was not sent away. Honey is now one of tiio favoured confmodities, mid it will be taken by the steamers .wllßgHver possible. TifoiQcal price is not likely to fall for a while as export honey which until recently ..would have brought about ,£dfl per ton'is now selling- at about .£l5O. The quantity of honev-exported in 1912 vwilifet tons, in 1913 586 tons, in 19U IBBBi7tbns, and in 1915 2456 tons. Jn MUSstlfere was a fall to 2390 tons, and in MWnai'further fall to 1572 tons.
