GEORGIANS IN THE CAUCASUS
. RESOLVED TO RESIST Paris, May 9. The President of the Union of Georgians of the Caucasus, announces that tho Georgians refuse tov recognise the Brest Litovsk treaty. They are determined to resist with desperation a German and Turkish invasion, and will make any sacriflco in order to block the road to Bagdad and India. The Georgians will never suffer the German yoks. '• They favour a great Slav federation—Au9.-N.Z. Cable Assn. ANARCHIST MOVEMENT: IN RUSSIA COLLISION WITH'THE BOLSHEVIKI. '< Berne, May 9. Kieff newspapers state that anarchists in Moscow secreted groat quantities of arms and munitions, including mountain artillery and machine-guns. The Bnlsheviki vainly demanded the surrender of the arms, and then stormed the munilion depots. They arrested and imprisoned four hundred anarchists. It is estimated that there are six thousand anarchists in Moscow, which is tho headquarters of their organisations.—.Router.' COSSACKS MARCH THROUGH SIBERIA 187 MILES ALONG THE RAILWAY. (Eee.,May 10, 8.20 p.m.) ',''■' Sh'annhui, May 9. The Cossack leader -SegnolV has advanced !>SO versts (about 187 miles) along the Trans-Siberian railway, aud holds seven stations.
