RED JERSEY APPEAL
FLAGS AND GUNS. The Red Artillery "drive" to be held to-morrow at Kilbirnio promises to bo unique. In addition to the ninety I\ed warriors and four brass bands already mentioned, there will be a captured German gun in the procession. LieutenuntColonel J. G. Hughes, D.5.0., is arranging to have this interesting piece of ordnance properly mounted and horsed, and it will clatter along in realistic fashion. The strong point about this "drive" is that it will leave behind it a trail of flags .and guns, painted on cards.- 'I'heso will bo sold to householders at Is, each, and the supporters of the Eed Jersey cause will bo asked to exhibit them in their windows which face tho streets. In this way exemption f»m further, raids will bo ensured, unless a raiding party of the opposing army conies along, and, by bribery or strategy, manages to replace the cards with others of a different colour. . .
