A HOMESTEAD DESTROYED. By Telegraph-Press Association. Eketahuna, May !). The fourteen-roomed residence of Mr. Cecil Kebbell, on "Te-Hoe" Station, Alfredton, with its contents, was totally destroyed by fire- at 3 a.m. yesterday. Some of the occupants only escaped in their night attire. The origin of the fire is a mystery. The insurances are not ascertainable. DRAPERY ESTABLISHMENT GUTTED. Invercargill, May 9.
