GERMAN PROPAGANDA AT WORK. New York, May 8. | The Washington correspondent of the Now York "Times" states that after a debate the Senate decided to hold a secret investigation of the aircraft situation. The Military Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives, after hearing statements by aircraft officials, admit that they are convinced that I hero is no evidence of ["raff, or pro-German influence such as Mr. j'targlum r.Ueged existed. Mr. linker, Si-cretary of War, stated in ovidonco that he believed that proGerman propaganda, was largely responsible for tho criticism of the production of tho aircraft.—Aus.-N.7i. Cablo Asm.
