SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY

The concert provided by Miss Teychenne at tho Sailors' Frienfl Society tm Tuesday was very much appreciated by tho enthusiastic audience present. The performers were Mrs. Kennedy, Misses Teychenns, Walter, and Russell, and Messrs. Laycock, Hughes, und Betholl. Mi&s Toychcnne was at the piano. Mr. Moore, Missioner, spoke on "Held by tho Enemy," in relation to temperance, and pledges followed. Button-holes, the gifts of the Misses Kreefl and Morrsh, wore highly valued by the men. Mr. Armstrong donated the competition prize.
