Mr. Perry Robinson, writes from the Western front:—"Tho Twenty-ninth Division, recently mentioned by Sir Douglas Haig, is as famous as any in tho Army. It established a wonderful record from Gallipoli to the mid-April fighting, and did magnificently on the Sonime, at Monchy, Cambrai, and Marcoing, whoroit completely held up tho Germans on our eastern salient in November, 1917. At the beginning of the present battle tho division left recent hard eervico -A Insschendaele, took position at Merris, and lias dono continuously great service since.".—"Tho Times'."
