ALLEGED BREACHES OF THE BANKRUPTCY ACT

Bj Tcleßraph.--Press Association. Auckland, May 6. At tho Police Court to-day George Hart, mattress maker, pleaded not guilty lo charges of breaches of tho Bankruptcy Act, and was committed for trial. The charges were 'that being a bankrupt he disposed of in other than the ordinary way of business a quantity of ticking he had not paid for; that he did not disclose to the Assignee all his properly, and how he had disposed of any part thereof except such as had been disposed of in an ordinary business way; also contracting debts without reasonable expectation of paying them, and failing, to keep proper books of account.
