A CALL TO AUSTRALIA'S YOUTH
EIGHTEEN-YEAE-OLDS MAY ENLIST. I (Rec. May 6, 11.40 p.m.) . Melbourne, May 6. Senator I'earco has announced that t.ho parents' consent to enable youths under twenty-ono to enlist is not now required. Recruits may enlist fit the ago of eighteen, but will not be sent into enmp until six months. They will then bo embarked as soou as possible, but will not bo allowed in the firing-line until they reach the ago of nineteen.—Press Am.
