THE WEATHER
Yesterday was i>eautifully fine in Wellington, but in the evening an electrical commotion was observed in a fairly clear sky, and about midnight the temperature dropped ami fairly heavy rain fell. There was no! official forecast last evening, but at tho time of writing (1.3 C a.m.) tho prospect of a fino_ day was extremely doubtful.
