"Wager."—lf your argument related to the allowance for the child dependant of a soldier you lose; if it related to the pension allowance for the child of a, deceassd eoklier you win. Prior to May 1 the allowance for each child dependant of a soldier was 7s. a weei, which has now been increased to 103. 6d. a week. The pension allowance for the child dependant of a deceased soldier prior to liny 1 was, and still is, 10s. a week.
