GERMAN MILLIONAIRE PEN-MAKER
SUICIDE AT THE ISLE OF MAN. London, April 80. Frederick Brandauer, tho German millionaire pen manufacturer, who was interned in tho Isle of Man, has committed suicide by taking veronal. He had lived in England for thirty years, but was never naturalised. Ho was recently informed that ho would shortly bo repatriated, but said he would rather dio. Uo loft a letter to the Coroner stating that ho preferred tho agonies of death to tie cruelties of living .in Germany. Mi. Brandauer's sister is the wife of a lonian genoral.-Aus.-N.Z. Cablo Awn.
