I'OLICE AND CIVIL CASES. Mr. S. E. M'Carthy, S.M., presided over a sitting, of tho Magistrate's Court yesterdny and dealt with the ■ polico cases. A man named William Arthur M'Millan pleaded guilty to a charge of indecency' in Motoroii Street on Monday, and was sentenced to a year's imprisonment. A youth named William Bannerman Rogers pleaded guilty to stealing a bicycle valued at i 3, the property of Oscar Cornelius Smith. "The bicycle was taken from the Kelburn tramway stand and sold to a second-hand dealer, who in turn-had sold it to a customer, and the machine had not been recovered. The lad was sentenced to three months' imprisonment, the Magistrate intimating that ho would recommend him to Uβ placed in an industrial 6chool. I'roMdod over a short sitting of H'e Juvenile Court hold yesterdny morning, when three truancy cases worn dealt with.
