Mr. Newton King reports:—At Douglas on Monday, 2. 4, 6-tooth, and f.f.m. ewes made 225. 5d.; 2 and 4-tooth wethers, 25;.; mixed age wethers, 275. 3d.; aged wethers, 12s, 9(1.; lambs, 10s. to lis. At Stratford on April 23 there was a good yarding, with fair inquiry for cows and weaners, but other classes were dull. On Friday, at Hr, v iotu, a fine line of 50 Short-horn-Holstein steers realised £5 45.; smaller norts, 395. to £2 10s.; weaner heifer?, 395. 6d. to £2 65.; empty Shorthorn heifers £7 65.; 18-month steers,/£7 65.; forward cows, £8 to £9; store tows, £4 2s. to £7 6s.
