An inquest was held yesterday afternoon by Mr. W. Cr. Riddell into tlic causo of death of Daniel MHandoll, 67 years of age, who was found dead in bed, at IGGa Vivian Street, where he had lived with his married daughter, Mrs. Alico Tanner. Ho had douo no work for tho past two years. Ho complained about his heart, and appeared depressed. Ho went to bod at 7.30 p.m. on Thursday last,.and was found dead tho next morning. Dr. Kington Fyffo, who made the post-morlcm examination, was of tho opinion that tho man had died from heart disease, and a verdict in accordance with tho medical evidence waa returned.
