RUGBY SEASON OPENS A SEVEN-A-SIDE TOURNAMENT. The Rugby season wfis inaugurated on Saturday afternoon on tho Athletic Park with a seveu-a-sido tournament. There were sixteen entries in each competition, tho souior and fifth-class grades, respectively. The weather «us ideal, and the spectators numbered several hundreds. In tho finals, which provided close and interesting games, Hint vim the senior ctmijietition, with University A runnersiip, while tho honours in the fifth-class grade went to St. Patrick's College A, wlio defeated Wellington College A (a much' lighter seven) by five points to nil.
