The annual installation of +iie W.M. and investiture of ofScws of St. Mark's Jlatonic Lodge took place in Carterton on Thursday evening, brethren _ being present ivbin all parts of tho district. Bra. Smith; J.D., Bro. W. Eao; chapInin, Bro. W. A. Kitchen; 1.G., Bro. I. ■\V Voso; tyler, Bro. J. Mevens; b. steward, Bro, J. Stringor, junior steward, Bro. Amis. . •\t tho quarterly meeting of the Wairarapa Past Grand Lodge of Oddfellows,, held at Peathoraton, the following officers woro nominated:—President, Bro. K Eoenbey (Martinborough); vice-pre-sident, Bro. J. Langley (Jlasterton); lecture master, Bro. L. H. Smart (Garterton); warden, Bro. C. Skipage (Feathorston); auditors, Bros A. P. Smith (Masterton) and A. C. Holms (Featherston); committee, Bros. 1). P. Loasby (Greytowii), J. A. Boako (Martinborougii),- j. i , . "w«'} is (p v, ? to yi')- and A ,- C Holmes (Fentherston). The annual meeting is to bo held at Carterton in Julv. ■
