SERIES OF RESOLUTIONS. By Tclegraph.-Prcsa Association. Timaru, April 26. The Timaru executive of the Second Division League to-day passed resolutions to be forwardod to the Government through the. Central Executive:-(l) That a witVs allowance should be fis., and a child's Is. Gd. per day; (2) • that reservists should be given three months notice after medical examination, as promised; (3) that if all the married men are called up it will paralyse the industrial and commercial life of (ho Dominion, which then • will be unable to meet its obligations to returning men; U) that whilst we feel that New Zealand should carry out its obligations fully, this Dominion should only do in tho' samo proportion as other portions of the Empire, and New Zealand is the only colony calling up married men; (51 before married men are compelled to go' into camp all sine die adjourned single men should be called up
