COLLEGE GOVERNORS
The Hon. J. G. W. Aitken (chairman), Mewrs. J. P. Luke, W. H. P. Baiter, TV. Allen, an:! A. Warburton were present at a meeting of the College Governors held yesterday morning. The financial (statement showed a credit of ,£3762 ils. 2d., with cash in hand J3B Bs. 3d. The payments required wero:— Wellington Cqllege, .£836 65.; Girls' College, i'(i!) 8 16s. The outstanding fees were as follow:—Wellington College, ,£62 Os. ad.; Girls', College, X 1360 16s. The outstanding rents amount to JJIBO 16s. 4d.
Mr. J. P. firth (Principal of the' Wellington College) supplied the following list of scholarship-holders for the' present year:—Rhodes, .£10; C. 1). Meadoworoft; Rhodes, D. F. Stuart; Moore, JGIO, A. H. Heron; Moore, £10, E. W. Anderson; Turnbull, .£lO, J. L. Stewart; Tiwnbiill, £'o (3), 0. Isaac, E. R. P. Howard, and H. D. T. OHis; Levin (languages), i\ L. Gillon; Levin (science), W. E. Johnstone.
