PADDY'S MARKET RESUMES.

Tho continuous Paddy's Market, to be run by , tho lied Jersey Appeal Committee, will be opened to-day in Mr. H..D. Bennetfs shop, in Willis Street, formerly used by tho Y.M.C.A. Committee. A featuro of tho enterprise will bo the novel window attractions. These aro being dosigned on most original lines, and are bound to attract attention. Iho goods to be offered are of a most varied character, and fresh stocks will bo listed every day. All sympathisers with this movomont to raise funds for tho benoht of New Zealand soldiers are invited to sond in donations in kind-any kind ot a saleable nature will bo gratefully received. All proceeds are for the solA meeting of ladies is being called by tho Mayoress, Mrs. J. P. Luke, for Monday next, at 3 p.m., for the purpose of organising for tho salo of badges and to assist the lied Jersey appeal in other ways. The meeting will bo hold, in tho Council Chnintor of the Town Hall, and as (he money to bo collected is tc bo devoted wlcly <o war work for our soldiers it is expected that there will bo a uood cwponso to the Mayoress's invitation. Tho badges to bo sold aro tho red ami blue ixomplior, badges, in connection with tho great Red and Blue Artillery baltlo which will begin next week.
