SEARCHING-FOR BODIES OF THE CK-EW. By Tclegraph-l'res3 Association. Wanganui, April 25. Tho polico -unsuccessfully searched the coast to-day for the bodies of the three men drowned by the. foundering of the launch Monarch in the roadstead yesterday morning. The identity of (ho third victim has not been definitely established yet, but lie is believed to bo William Batemaii, a cook by occupation, and a resident of Nukumnvu. Further wreckage nnd flotenm from the launch was found on the beaoh to-day. Is iis now thought (hat at least two of tho victims were imprisoned in the cabin of tho launch when ehe foundered.
