ROWING
A pair-oared race was got off last .Saturday by tho Wellington Bowing Club. The crews were: B. Bice (stroke) and W. Morris (bow); W. M'Gill (stroke) and C. Leslie (bow); P. Bognuda (stroke) and H. Flinders (bow); H Hinchliff (stroke) and W. Parker (bow); K. Hayes (stroke) and C. Stanton 'bow). The results were as follow:—Rice and Morris defeated Bognuda and Flinders; Hayes and Stanton defeated Hinchliff and Parker; M'Gill and Leslio defeated Hayes and Stanton. In the final M'Gill and Leslie defeated Bice and Moms. The , results, of tho Novice Pairs were; B. E-ico (stroko) and H. Flinders (bow) defeated F. Bojjnuda (.stroke) and E. Foothead (bow); C. Stanton (stroke) and "W. Morris (bow) defeated H. Connolly (stroke) and H. Flinders (bow); Leslio end Clementsoii'defeated J. Bofrnuda and W. Parker; Eice and Parker defeated Stanton aud Morris. The final is to bo rowed off this week between Eice and Parker and Leslie and Clementson.
