Sir,—Lest my action in withdrawing from tko Kerohoma Commission, at what appeared to bo the eleventh hour, should be misinterpreted, will you permit me to state that as Jong ago as March 30 last I, in writing, informed Sir Jolm Fiudlay, Sir Joseph Ward, and Mr. Morieon, K.C., of my intention so to do.
