Molbourne, April 23. It is ■anticipated that when the. crushing of the new crop commences in June there will bo a surplus of sugar in Australia from the previous crop of 30,000 tons, to which will be added 60,000 tons from the new crop, making J33.000.000 worth of sugar which the Commonwealth Government will hold in June, 1919, and for which there is no apparent profitable market open.—Press Assn.
