HONOURS PRESENTED
INVESTITURE AT GOVERNMENT HOUSE. Last evening, by Command of Hie Majesty tho King, an Investiture was held at Government House, Wellington, when tho Governor-General presented to Surgeon-General I?. S. F. Henderson, the insignia of a Companion of the Most Honourable Order of tho Bath, and to Colonels C. IT. Gibbon, H. R. Potter, N. P. Adams, Lieutenant-Colonel L. E. Barnett, and Major Norton [Francis the insignia of a Companion of the Most Distinguished Order of St. Michael and St. George. His Excellency also handed to Miss H. Maclean the badge i!f the First Class of the Eoynl Red Cross decoration, and to Miss L. Bird and Mrs. B. Mitchell the badgo of the Second Class of the Royal Red Cross decoration.
