Dd. iter mile .to run its cars, the Karorl lSorougn paid only Is. Hd. per mile. Through his misunderstanding tiie matter, he conveys a ve.'y erroneous impresion to the public. The Is. 3d. per tiula cost of runuiiig tho .city trams includes the eosts o{ renewals and repairs to track and overhead gear, printing of tickets, lighting of track, capital and other charges., In addition to paying tuo City Council Is. l{d. for running its cars 011 the borough lines, the Karon Council has to pay all repairs' and renewals to its track and overhead gear, pay tho City Council for lighting tho track, print its own tickets, and meet capital, clerical, and other charges, which are included in the city's Is. 3d. per mile.—l am, etc.,
