ORPHANS' CLUB
The eishth annual general meeting of the Wlineton Orphans' Club was held mi Saturday. Orphan Archibald Hunt ■presided over a very large attendance The report and balance-sheet, which show the club to be in n very sound position were adopted. During thoiyear the membership erenlly increased, ami , the session was the best in- the history ' of the club. The following distinguished guests were entertained: His Excellency Hie Governor-General, Lord T.ivmxwl, }Tis TTonmir Ril- T?nW( Pf-nut, Tfi<rht Tfon. W. F. Magsey, B-isrht. Hon. Sir Joseph Ward, members of Hie National Cabinet, and other leading citizens. Visits were also with the "Wellington Sav- j ase Club.
