In a special dispatch to Ttts Excellency Iho Governor-General o£ New Zealand, dated April 19, tho Secretary of Static for the Colonies (Mr. Long) states :- "The Food Ministry reports that notwithstanding a substantial enforced reduction in.the amount of meat consumed there has been a notablo absence of conic plaints from any qitaftof.
