The organisation of females employed in the printing Mid bookbinding trades has occupied the attention of members of the local Printers' Machinists' Union in Christchurch, Dnnedin, Auckland, ami Wellington recently. As a result the girls have decided to accept membership of the established unions 'with'a view to arranging conditions ol" employment for their branch of the trade. A conference of representatives of the New Zealand Master Printers' Association and those of the female workers will be held in Christchurch, when an attempt will bo made to arrange conditions' of employment governing the female section of the printing trade throughout the Dominion.
