HATAITAI ELECTORS
The anpual meeting of the Hataitai Municipal Electors' Association was held in the school buildings on Monday even- i ing. Mr. A. Le'igh Hunt presided over a large attendance of members. In viewing the content.? of the annual report Mr. Hunt pointed out .'that the calling up of the Second Division would greatly affect the district, and he hoped that the incoming committee would see that the general interests of those sent into camp would be properly looked after. He hopßtl that steps would be. taken to keep a record of all who left the district, with the object of erecting, a permanent roll of honour at a later date. Ho touched upon the school question and the tram service, on the lines of the report. The following officers wern elected — President, Mr. A. Leigh Hunt; vicepresidents, Messrs. Bayfield. Ga.udin, and ro an; committee, Messrs. Barnett, Batt, Bell, Crerar, Dowling, Edwards. Halli-' day, Hothersall, M'Goldrick, Morcom Seville, Bacon, Shepherd, and Shorney' secretary, Mr. J. L. Arcus; auditor, Mr H. Amos.
