REVIEW OF THIRTY-SIXTHS
GOVERNOR-GENERAL AT TRENTH.Ut. Tho Thirty-Sixth Reinforcements were reviewed at Trentliam yesterday by His Excellency the Governor-General, in fine weather. In his inspection of the troops Lord Liverpool was accompanied by Colonel H. It. Potter, C.M.G., Camp Commandant, Major-General Sir Alfred Robin, K.C.M.G., Commandant of the New Zealand Forces, Colonel C. M. Gibbon, 1.G.5., C.M.G., Chief of Staff, Colonel C. U, Macdonald, 1.G.5., Chief Infantry Instructor, Major J). Sweetzer, Camp Adjutant, and other camp and Headquarters officers. The troops made n tine spectacle in the brilliant sunshine, and their ceremonial drill and marching were considered to he excellent. The Camp Band played selections during the inspection, and led the troops to the saluting base. At tho conclusion of tho review, His Excellency presented the Chingford Reinforcements Challenge Cup to C Company, Thirty-sixth Reinforcements, that company having secured the highest number of points at the sports meeting held on Tuesday.
