TO BE OPENED TO-DAY. Wellington is again to enjoy the senRation of n Paddy's Market. To-day, Thursday, and' Friday of this week the Town Hall will be changed into a huge fayre. There will he a butcher's shop, a second-hand stall, sweet stall, cake stall, side-shows,'and a hundred and one things. A novelty will be the silver trail, which will prove an interesting addition to, the market in being a "long,, long trail." .Every appetite will be catered for in the refreshment stall. Anotherbig feature will be the baby show on Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Quick lunches will bo served for busy men between the liouils uf 12 and 2 for Is. 3d., which includes admission to the market. The flower stall will be a feature of Hie market, and at "Paddy's Bootory" there will be boots in plenty. If any render has anything lie or she does nol) want, they ars asked to fiend it to Paddys Market, where it will he (mined into money for "Our Boys." Her Excellency the Countess of Liverpool is to open the market to-d.iy at 11 a.m. The keenest interest is being displayed, in the preparations for the opening of the great Bed and Blue Artillery Battle, which will commence almost immediately. Quite a nnml>er of suburbs, both in tho Red- and Blue districts, have taken up the scheme in a wholehearted manner, and have set up strong committees to prepare the necessary ammunition to fire the money shells for the purpose of giving comforts to our boys in distant lands. Khamlallah, Kilbirnie, Mavanui, Scatoun, Petone, and Hatnitai already have matters well in hand, and-this eveniut! there are meetings at Knron and Lower Hutt, also in Wand Bay at an early date. In the battle each suburb will be given full credit for their individual efforts, and at th. fame lime will be assisting their districts to win, hie test battle of all-the battle of comforts.
