AMERICA'S SEIZURE OF DUTCH SHIPS
ACTUALLY A KINDNESS TO . HOLLAND. Washington, April 13. Mr. Lansing, in a statement replying to the Dutch Government's disapproval of the seizure of Dutch shins, says that tho shortage of ehipping threatened to postpone at frightful cost ultimate victory over militarism, and the great emergency justified the temporary seizure, which "leaves available to the Netherlands the greater part of their merchant tonnage."- The friendly lelations between both Governments'havo not been uhaiiged.-Aus.-N.Z.
