GERMANY'S HOPES FOR RECOVERY.
Amsterdam, April 12. The Bremen "Wesor Zeituaa" states that many Germans have abandons hope of recovering the South Sea colonies, but as.their uroducts are immensely valuable, and their situation such as to render them essential to Germany n world-trade as coaling and wireless stations, perhaps (says the paper) it will bo possible in tho pence neaotiatioits to pit the conflicts interests of Britain, Japan, and America apainst one 'another, which mav vcsiilt in the recover* of the colonios by Germany.—Aus.-iYZ.
